About Us

My Husband and a I live in the High Desert of Central Oregon. This is where our Kennel name come's from Ochoco means Willow in Indian. We are surrounded by Ochoco mountains and parks and rivers.

My husband has had a love for Boxers since childhood where he had a white Boxer named J.D. I bought him his first Boxer in 1992, for his Birthday we called her Brandy and she stole our Hearts, with Brandy followed Sugar Bear And then Fancy. Sugar succumbed to Degenerative Disc Diease, Which took control of his back legs. at the age of 7 . Brandy lived till she was 10 passing in her sleep one morning. Both taking a part of our hearts with them. Never a did a day go by they didn’t bring laughter and joy from there funny antic's , and as I recall there never was enough room in our bed.We lost our Fancy this summer at the age of 9. we will always miss her gentle ways and the love she had for our Grandaughter Ashely.

After losing Brandy we thought we could never have another Boxer it wasn’t long and we bought Spirit and Honey from Belgaraids Boxers from Crooked River Ranch. After purchasing these two dogs our lives change so much going to dog show's and meeting some of the nicest people. It was a real thrill attending ABC in 2003 especially when Spirit Placed.

We bred Spirit to Majestic Southern Belle in Aug from that breeding we kept 2 puppies, Our little Whisper will start her show career in the spring, little Thunder will go live with Ashley this summer to learn obedience and hopefully Agility.

We feel if there's anything we have learned from our Boxer's it is they never stop loving you, but most important how important health testing is in a breed that's so plagued by so many terrible diease's.I feel I really need to thank Judy Grandmont of Packapuch Boxers and Chris Balders Of Tenebo Boxer's for all the encouragment and friendship.
